One of the main sharks in
the Breakcore North Sea, Rotterdam-based FFF is a phenomenon, pushing
the breaks, the rave and the core to the next level with intense beatmanipulation
and can be considered a menace to dancefloors across the world. Without
restrain, FFF drags his listeners through a journey of destructive rattles
and humms, leaving them wasted, worn-out and begging for more. Raw but
far from uncut, you can be sure that this Dutch breakcore-a-gogo maniac
will not leave until you can scrape the blood off the walls. |

Captain Spectre manages to
combine breakbeats and punk flawlessly into one solid, seductive piece
of evidence that distortion can be both pretty and powerful. Hailing
from the United States, Aaron Spectre has pushed the boundries of the
rougher edges of jungle and breakcore to a point where ambience and
melody go hand in hand with glitch and core. His livesets are energetic,
original and heavily improvised rushes of liquid acid, taking even his
own tracks to level eleven. |

Pretentious beatwork-a-holic
Benefit of the Boomerang (BotB) has been contaminating his bathroom
breakcore with drama and bombastic compositions since day one. Inspired
by jazz, jungle and classical music, he aims to turn up the intensity
of dancemusic, seeking the boundries of the danceable, without using
wet distortion to compensate the lack of talent. Like an openheart operation
at thirteen degrees Kelvin: pretty cool. |
