Joining the dots between Croydon and Detroit,
Rotterdam based producer EVS fuses Techno’s sonics and haunting soul with the low end and half time swing of Dubstep. Hailing for the same town as Marytn (3024) and proving that there is definitely something special filtering through Hollands water supply, EVS drops his debut 12” release on Studio Rockers. EVS creates dubstep that owes as much to the sounds of Mike Banks and Jeff Mills as it does to dubsteps founding forefathers. Think Basic Channel, Derrick May and Appleblim and you are half way there. Released his first EP on Studio Rockers in April 2009 and now signed to Mindtrick Records.
